Exploring Sintra's charm 🌄
We had such a lekker time! The public areas are like stepping back in time, with that old-school vibe. The staff were chill and super helpful, sharing cool tips about Sintra. Plus, waking up to that garden view from our balcony was just magic!

it’s truly shocking that a so-called premium hotel has such terrible conditions. my romantic double room had chipped furniture and no hot water machine. i was expecting a complimentary gesture after suffering with a stained bathtub, but alas, nothing. i almost considered giving a good review, but how could i with all this disappointment?

Recommend it for history buffs
The views from my room were stunning, really breathtaking. I loved sitting by the window and just absorbing the atmosphere, makes you feel like you time traveled.
It wasn’t cheap, for sure, but acceptable.

The room offered unique character with its historical elegance and provided spectacular forest views that were breathtaking. There’s a cozy library room and an outdoor garden area that make for a fantastic place to unwind after a long day of exploring.
Many rooms clearly show signs of wear. I noticed chipped furniture and outdated bathrooms that could really use some updating. Electrical issues cropped up as well, with loose sockets and instances of power failing when devices were plugged in. The hotel has some charm, but the lack of sufficient maintenance and cleaning standards in common areas was noticeable, leading to an overall feeling that it doesn’t quite meet the five-star hype.

The atmosphere is charming, with a blend of
Historic elegance and modern comfort. Each room has a unique character, and the staff's personalized attention really stood out during our stay. the lack of electrical outlets in the bathroom made styling hair a bit tricky.

It was just a well-suited match for a weekend excursion in Sintra with attractive and competitive value for money. The bed was comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep after a long day exploring the area. Make sure to check the parking situation before you arrive, as it can be a bit tricky.
